BIOL 210 - Introduction to Writing About Biology Students will select a topic in biology, compile the relevant literature, develop a written review, and present the paper to the class; peer review of others’ works is an important component of this course. To facilitate informed enrollment decisions by students, topical coverage for each section will be announced and advertised in appropriate venues. Core Biology Course - required of all Biology majors.
Credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): BIOL 107 - Cells, Molecules, and Genes with a grade of “C” or higher AND BIOL 104 - Ecology and Evolution of the Organism with a grade of “C” or higher AND ENG 190 - Writing as Critical Thinking (or concurrent enrollment).
Registration Restriction(s): Sophomore status.
