MUSI 101 - Music Fundamentals This course introduces the basic structures of music, pitch and time, and the ways that we notate them using standard musical notation. Students learn the elements of notated music: staves, keys, scales, chords, chord symbols, rhythm, and meter. Students also practice dictating musical elements, and singing notated melodies.
