Program Requirements:
The Political Communication Minor prepares students to enter the world of political campaigns and political consulting. The minor is designed to give students a background in the theories of communication and political science, the structures of government and campaigns, and skills in message construction and persuasion; all elements necessary for work in political campaigns. The Political Communication Minor is a 15-credit minor, 9 credits of which should be completed at the 300-level or higher. You may only take one 200-level course in each department. Courses in the minor cannot double count in the Communication or Political Science and International Relations majors. Students should meet the Missouri Statute Requirement with either: Choose two of the following courses from Political Science:
