The Medieval & Early Modern Studies Minor encourages the study of the premodern world from roughly 400 to 1700 CE. This was a time of vast changes and global developments in philosophy, literature, religion, trade, diplomacy, and politics. By the end of the era it was possible to think of an interconnected “world.”
