Program Requirements:
The Spanish Minor requires the successful completion of 15 credits, including the following courses plus an additional 6 credits of Spanish courses of the student’s choosing above the intermediate proficiency level: Notes:
- Some of the above requirements may be satisfied by Study Abroad courses. It is required that all Spanish minors planning to study abroad seek the advice of a Spanish faculty member before going out of the country. This is done in order to facilitate credit transfer. Failure to do so may result in some credits not being awarded for experience abroad.
- A minimum of nine credits of the coursework for the Spanish Minor must be completed at Truman State University or through a Truman State University led program, unless a greater number of credits at Truman are specified by the Spanish discipline.
- No grade of “D” is accepted toward the Spanish Minor.
- Only one Spanish minor can be pursued.
